Oyster

A decidedly original solution offered by Mastella for the wash basin area of the bathroom. The Oyster can serve as a plain vanity top with integral bowl, or a boxed-in console, likewise with integral bowl. The singular aspect of this product is the combination of two different materials: Mak® for the bowl, matte or gloss, and a contrasting finish for the top. Available in various lengths, with a standard depth of 51 cm. Tradition and innovation merge in a single furnishing item of genuinely unique character. Basin supplied with free flow waste as standard.

Thickness makes the difference

Not only does the Oyster console meet any requirement in terms of length, but more especially, it offers a choice of different heights. In the console version, the Oyster 100 console is boxed in on the 3 exposed vertical faces with side walls 10 cm high, whilst the Oyster 18 plain top has a light and slim look, just 2 cm thick. Each gives this original item of bathroom furniture a different style and character every time. The height measurement gives the wash basin area pride of place in the furnishing scheme, especially in the case of the Oyster 100 console, which makes the strongest possible statement, whether as part of a vanity unit or as a stand-alone feature. Both versions available with single or twin bowls.

HPL or Fenix

The Oyster top is manufactured using two engineering materials of the latest generation: High Pressure Laminate or Fenix, both of the highest quality, tough, easy to clean and repairable if defaced. HPL combines maximum durability and scratch-resistance with superior visual impact, given the many textured, veined and wood-grain effects obtainable: the choice is wide and varied, ensuring the Oyster will blend effortlessly with any bathroom interior. Fenix is a composite that contains resins processed utilizing innovative nano-technologies to produce a tough and repairable material with optimum visual properties, reflected in a range of uniform colours with an ultra-matte finish, velvety to the touch.

A perfect combination of two materials

The main feature of the Oyster is the pairing of a basin fashioned from Mak® acrylic resin composite, in a matte or gloss finish, and a top faced with High Pressure Laminate or Fenix. Different materials, but when combined in the Oyster console or top, a guarantee of practical convenience and hygiene common to all one-piece vanity tops, since there are no joints or hidden dirt traps. Visually speaking, the beauty of the Oyster top is that offers a choice of preferred finish and can therefore be matched to the surrounding furniture, while retaining the classic practical attributes of the one-piece white vanity top.
